Know who can pitch today.
Arm Aware keeps pitch counts and applies the Pitch Smart rest rules for you. Every coach and parent sees the same answer: ready or resting, and the day a pitcher is eligible again.
No card needed to start. Works in any phone browser, with nothing to download.
The count lives in too many places.
Pitch counts end up in a scorebook, a group text, or someone's memory. A kid who pitches for a rec team on Saturday and a travel team on Sunday has two coaches who each know half the story.
Arm Aware puts every outing in one history, whoever logged it and whichever team it was for. The rest math is done the same way every time, so nobody has to count days on their fingers at the field.
Log the outing. Arm Aware does the rest.
Log the outing
After the game, a coach or a parent enters the date and the pitch count. It takes seconds, and either one can do it.
The rules are applied
Age on the day of the game, the rest tables, pitches from two teams on the same day added together, and no third straight day.
Everyone sees the status
Ready or resting, with the date each pitcher is eligible again. Coaches see their whole roster. Parents see their own kids.

The published guidelines, applied the same way every time.
- Age on game day. A birthday in mid-season changes the limits on the right date.
- Same-day pitches add up. Doubleheaders and two teams in one day count together.
- The longest rest wins. A heavy outing followed by a light one still needs the heavy outing's rest.
- No third straight day. Pitch Smart's three-days-in-a-row rule is explained right in the status.
| Age | Daily maximum |
|---|---|
| 7 to 8 | 50 |
| 9 to 10 | 75 |
| 11 to 12 | 85 |
| 13 to 14 | 95 |
| 15 to 16 | 95 |
| 17 to 18 | 105 |
| 19 to 22 | 120 |
One app for the people around a pitcher.
- Parents
- See your child's status and next eligible date. Log an outing after a game. Link the other leagues your child plays in. You see only your own children.
- Coaches
- See every pitcher on your teams. Log and fix outings, add players, and invite parents. Search the roster and filter by team.
- Organizations
- See the whole league or club at once. Import a roster from a spreadsheet, merge duplicate players, archive last season's teams, and control who has access.
Built to protect children's information.
The app stores as little as it can, and the database checks who is allowed to see each record on every request.
Read the security details- Access by invitation. Nobody can join an organization, or see someone else's child, without an invitation sent to their own email.
- No accounts for children. Only parents and coaches sign in. A child is a record, not a user.
- No passwords. You sign in with a code sent to your email.
- Collects less. No photos, home addresses, phone numbers, or school details. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so Arm Aware never sees a card number.
Pricing is by number of teams.
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You don't need a card to try it.

For a league, club, or school.
For a league, club, or school.
For a parent who isn't part of an organization: up to 4 children and 1 team.
- If your organization pays, parents do not. Parents in a paid organization need no plan of their own.
- Only active teams count. Archive last season's teams and they stop counting, and their players and outings are kept.
- Logging outings and viewing history never stop, even if a plan lapses. Adding new players, teams, and invitations pause until it's renewed. Parents get a 30-day grace period first.
Questions
Is Arm Aware official, or approved by MLB or USA Baseball?
No. Arm Aware is an independent tool that applies the published Pitch Smart guidelines. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by MLB, USA Baseball, Little League, Babe Ruth League, or any league.
Does it replace the coach's judgment?
No, and it isn't medical advice. A coach's or doctor's judgment always comes first. Arm Aware works alongside your official scorebook and pitch count record, and gives coaches and parents one shared answer about who is rested.
What does it not cover yet?
Annual innings limits, time off from throwing, catcher guidance, limits counted in innings, and the league-age rules some leagues use. If a league's own rules are stricter than Pitch Smart, follow the league's rules.
Do players need their own accounts?
No. Only parents and coaches sign in. A child is a record in the app, with a name, birth date, and outings.
Can a parent use it without a league or club?
Yes. The parent plan is $20 a year for up to 4 children and one team. If you later join an organization that pays, you don't need your own plan.
What happens to our data if we stop paying?
You keep your records and can still log outings. Adding new players, teams, and invitations pauses until the plan is renewed. Parents have 30 days of grace before that happens.
What devices does it work on?
Any phone, tablet, or computer with a web browser. You can add it to your home screen. There is nothing to download from an app store.
Try it with one team.
Set up an organization, import a roster, and invite coaches and parents. Run it for a few weeks and see if it fits.
